Coach Leo and COROS
COROS connects directly to Coach Leo, so a COROS runner does not need a Strava account in between. Unlike Polar, COROS does hand over your past training: the connection imports several months of history straight away, so Leo starts from what you have actually been doing rather than from an empty diary.
Read-only
What you need — A COROS watch and a COROS account. No Strava required. The direct connection is opening progressively — if it is not available on your account yet, connect Strava in the meantime.
What Leo reads
- Your recent training history at connection, then every new workout
- Distance, duration, pace, heart rate, cadence and elevation
- Laps, so an interval session is read as intervals and not as one average
- Sport type, so cross-training is counted rather than ignored
How the sync works
Checked regularly rather than pushed: COROS offers no notification when a workout lands, so Leo re-reads a rolling window every half hour. A session that syncs from your watch is normally in your diary within the hour.
What it does not do
- Read-only. Leo imports from COROS and never writes to it: no workout is pushed to the watch and nothing in your COROS account is modified. Session push to the watch currently works with Suunto.
- Not instant. Without a notification from COROS, a workout appears at the next check rather than the second you press stop.
- Rolling out progressively. The direct connection is being opened account by account; until yours is enabled, Strava remains the way in.
One source at a time
Leo reads one activity source at a time. Strava, Suunto, Polar, COROS and your phone's health store all carry the same workouts — a health store is fed by the same watch — so connecting a second one would duplicate every outing and leave you unable to tell which source Leo is actually reading. Switching sources takes two clicks on your connections page.
Your data
Authorised through COROS's own consent screen and revocable at any time, from COROS or from your connections page. Disconnecting removes the workouts imported from COROS and revokes our access.
Your data, already in sync.
Coach Leo starts from the runs you have actually done — not from a questionnaire. Connect your source and get a plan built on your real training.

Everything about this integration
Frequently asked questions
Does Coach Leo import my past COROS workouts?
Yes. Unlike Polar, COROS lets us ask for a date range, so connecting imports several months of history in one go and Leo can size a plan on your real recent volume.
Can I use COROS and Strava together?
No — Leo reads one activity source at a time, because both would carry the same runs and duplicate every outing. Pick the one you prefer; switching later takes two clicks.
Can Leo send my session to a COROS watch?
Not today. The COROS integration is read-only by design. Session push to the watch currently works with Suunto.
